Samsung Soul + O2 What's The Story

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get their hands on a Samsung Soul U900 on an upgrade with O2.

    Here's my story.......

Rang O2 customer care 2 days ago and ordered one. The guy I was talking to said that they had them in stock and I could use my upgrade to purchase same and it would cost me €149. I was told that I would receive an email to confirm the order and that I would receive the phone within 2-3 days.
However I didn't receive any email so I rang back yesterday wondering if there was a problem. Spoke with a female who told me that no order had gone through and that phone wasn't available from them but was available in their O2 shops and with my upgrade it would cost €199, (€50 extra).
I felt this very strange and rang back again and spoke with another guy who told me that the phone was available on an O2 upgrade but not for a teleport connection.
In the mean while I received an email from O2's customer care stating that the phone was available online at a cost of €149.
I checked the O2 website but no sign of this phone.
    Very confusing.........

What are O2 at and do they have any interdepartmental communication???????

    Thanks Gummy Panda

I'm aware that they are selling them in O2 stores @€;199 on Platium upgrade but my issue is the fact customer care had offered me the same phone @149 and let with the impression that the order had gone through and all I had to do was waiting for its arrival. In fact they are still telling people (i had a friend ring up) that the phone is available through customer care at a discount but in truth I don't think O2 know themselves what they are at.

O2 retail and o2's online store are two separate entities that well ummm compete with each other. They all have to go through the same small pool of suppliers for their handsets but it wouldn't surprise me if retail didn't know what online were doing and viceversa. At least they didn't whilst i worked for them.
