B&Q do big plastic boxes that would support your body weight. should do the job.

but dont go in to a fitness shop and spend mad money on a so called "plyometrics Box" at the end of the day a box is a box!!

Went hunting in B&Q one day alright and found boxes that would do the trick but you couldn't stack them. I'm looking for boxes you can stack for plyo jumps and lay side by side for aerobic work. (hopping over and onto etc.) Any thoughts? I've thought about the plyo platforms irish lifting sells but unfortunately space is a concern so pretty much everything in the gym has to have 12 different uses. Like the power rack-pull up- towel hanger- hat stand, and the punch bag- bench- fridge- toilet.

As an aside...I'm an incredibly tight bastard and I looked into every possible 'other' solution...at the end of the day though I had to consider the fact that 125+kg athletes were going to be jumping all over them so went for something purpose built and they stack easily away at the side of the gym for me to sit on and yell at people when they are not in use...so are duel purpose.

Yeah when I hear the word tight, I see we're on the same page.

Perhaps multi purpose is the wrong word- what I should have said was flexible enough to be used in circuits for hops etc., and then be stacked away in the corner so nobody has to fall over them until they're used again. But if you're all going to slag me for how tight I am I'll just go sulk in the corner....

I like the look of the platforms and if I was a) wealthier, and b) had loads of space, I would get them tomorrow and get the B&Q stuff for the other uses.
