    Trained with this man in Slovenia at the weekend, first time doing any type of MMA training. I went over for the Boxing, Kickboxing and Taekwon-Do training but they had sessions with him also, this guy has to be seen to be believed - phenomenal athlete all round.

    Cool. What type of stuff were you doing with him?

    He was just back from Japan after winning a fight in Heroes I think it was.
    He did stuff from very basics up to more advanced stuff for the more experienced MMA fighters he had with him.
    He did a good bit of striking as he's from a Taekwon-Do back ground, leg kicks, then into take downs and working from the floor, moving from being on the bottom to top mount, ground n pound, elbows and knees as well as fighting from the clinch. It was an experience to be honest.
    During the sparring he hardly pulled anything, he got one his lads into an arm bar which resulted in a scream before a tap!

    We had a few drinks with him on saturday night, even though he's probably the hardest individual I've ever met, he's a very pleasant guy and highly educated in sport. His training regime is awesome and he's in amazing shape.
    I would definately go and see him if he fights in Cage Rage again, he has earned himself one definite fan here!

    Here's his last fight in April;

    He did well in his last fight, got his work done quickly. He's in the second round of the DREAM middleweight tournament now, I think he'll be facing Jason Miller. That'll be a tough fight if he's to win. Takes place in a month's time

    Can you clarify this, I dont read it as being anyway complementary about a coach

    I think I was very complentary about the guy, maybe you should read the positive things I said first.

    He was sparring his MMA guys who have experience, he caught one in an armbar the guy let a scream and tapped - maybe I should have pointed out Zelg smiled and helped him up after everyone had a chuckle.
