    How can I get verified my Irish PayPal account with an AIB Laser card?
    I tried already,but it won't let me through because it has only credit card options...

    Any advise????

    You can't use Laser with Paypal.

    I had before a verified Paypal account,when I was living in Hungary,and it was verifired with a Visa card,which was a laser card,but it had the 4 digit verification numbers on the back..

    I was told there is an other way to verify your Irish paypal account without a credit card..and on the website it says as well..:link your credit/debit card to your account....

    and it seems to be it is not allowing laser/debit cards.....icon8.gif

    Any other adviseicon5.gif or may i forget it without cc???icon10.gif

    A Visa debit card, as used in a lot of other countries, is not the same as a Laser debit card. Laser cannot, in any way, be used on Paypal. I believe Halifax offer a Visa debit card.

    Paypal's help pages are generic, and don't refer to any country specifically. If you lived in the UK you could easily verify your debit card on Paypal.

    3V (or other pre-pay style credit card), Halifax Visa debit, or a credit card are pretty much your only choices.

    So Visa Debit cards can be used on Paypal?

    I believe so yes, that's the only type of Debit card Paypal will accept.

    BUT halifax have a 15 euro charge if you buy in another currency with the visa debit card. craziness, you effectively need a credit card.

    Paypal will convert the currency for you before charging your card.
