Im a second year college student. Next year I hope to change college to study a different course in business. As part of the application I have to write a personal statement on my academic history and personal grounds for application. I am not very good at this sort of thing but getting the course I want may depend on it. So could you guys help me write it, give me a few ideas of want to say or sentences I could use.

My advice would be for you just to be honest. Say what appeals to you about the course and how joining it will benefit you. Write what you best skills are and how they can be used in Business. That is just a few ideas I had, maybe someone else on this forum will be able to put that into words for you and best of luck applying

Why do you want to do the course? Why will you benefit from it? What do you want to do in the future? How is the course going to prepare you for that? What have you learned already from your years of education that makes you both well-educated enough to be able to tackle the course but not so educated that you know it all already? These are questions that you should be able to answer, in your own words. They're not looking for fabulously stunning prose in these things, but they are looking to see whether you can express yourself adequately and whether you've got a clue as to what the course is about and a good reason for wanting to do it. That's it.
