Anybody got a clue what may be coming up in this one? I think she said there won't be anything on unionism but i'm not sure.

I hear for Section 1, the first half, religion is coming up, so think that lecture 4(Catholic Association) and Catolic Emancipation there.

Should be noted that the questions will be based on the themes of the module...should be still on BB, but if not, just say so and I'll PM them to ya/stick 'em up here.

The idea is to examine and evaluate both foces sustaining the Union, and forces working against the Union. From here exam advice in the last lecture, she said Identity(its a theme) is very important, so I'd luck at groups working against the Union(Sinn Féin) or groups promoting Irish identity(GAA). She also said no question on unionism or labour/suffrage.

Must do one question from each section, and they dont want narrative, they want analysis and your own opinion/arguement.

And thanks for asking this, cos I now feel prepared to study this section of the course:D

Now, do we want to discuss how that went?

Lets look at my predeictions...religion, Gaa, Sinn Féin...I'll go with a big hell YEAH for that. Relatively easy I found. Maybe if I focussed more on SF it could have been even better, but cant complain really.

I got to bed at 3am last night, opened my books for the first time at 7am, with 3 and a half hours sleep.. and I'm confident I done pretty well. Was very happy with the paper.
It helped that I turned up to most of my lectures and took notes though :)
