    Hi,

I'm looking for an Irish website where I can get an anonymous Irish IP when I am out of the country so it looks like I'm in Ireland. Its for connecting to programs that dont accept American customers while I'm in the states. Because I want it for using programs a simple Browser proxy isnt sufficient

If theres no such irish site a UK one would be OK?

Anyone know of anything like this? A Swedish example is https://www.relakks.com/

    thanks

If you haven't found a proxy, a slingbox is an option.

Unfortunately, a slingbox does nothing to help this guy.

You could use SSH tunnelling if you have a box running 24/7 in Ireland. Or you could possibly use Tor by forcing an Irish/UK exit node (I've read somewhere you can hardcode a Tor exit node in but I'm not a Tor user so can't confirm this).

Might be able to come up with more suggestions if you can provide more info. What you're trying to access, how much bandwidth it requires etc.

If he wants to watch an irish program, it is rather likely that the program is broadcast over the tv network. In which case a slingbox would do the job !

Performance over the Tor network would not be sufficient.

An SSH tunnel is a good idea.
