    Two Points.

One, are you imposing the over 18s limit or is this the rule of the events proprieters?

Two, I think more footage would be a plus for the sport. I hope to be there with camera in hand. Hopefully giz will do the same :P Glen, for the effect can I borrow a "Media" hat(if it fitsXD)?

We are, We Cant be responsible for supervision of a minor over the weekend. Theres no problem with you being there under a legal gaurdian's supervision. but since were not anyone's legal gaurdian's and child protection laws being as they are then the answer is a quick and sharp no.

I can't make the first one, my last 2 finals are on the 2nd and the 4th
I don't know if I'll be available for the Salute show either.
Pity, I have ACU and all...

Can't do the one in June since I'll not be in the country for part of the 2nd (flying back in from the Netherlands).

August I can do. I've got a US woodland load-out.

After much research, countless hours of tracking various Ursas through fenn, field, and fold. The answer is:

Only if they are packing Charmin Ultra.:D

Just something to note guys. Was having a look at livinghistory.ie - the forum used by various re-enacting groups.

These guys are pretty serious about their re-enacting\representation of their periods. They will not stand for any monkey business, nor should they. They have put alot of time effort and money into getting their uniforms and equipment and want the public to fully appreciate their attention to detail etc.

Johnny, I know you are looking for guys with ACU etc. I would urge whoever is going to try and get your ACU in order to try and look the part as best as you can. I know you will do us proud:)

Well if my experience of working alongside Johnny and the Ghosts at the infamous T4BB show is anything to go for I can vouch for the fact that they put just as much effort into attention to detail, getting things right and putting on a good show, so I reckon they'll do airsoft proud again.

@sci-ops, just something to note, this is partly re-enactment but its also about promoting airsoft and most importantly, more then anything else, FUN.

We all appreciate re-enactment groups and the level of detail they go into and we do try to put alot of effort into any events we do even if we do get hampered at every turn on the day (ala T4BB)
but at the end of the day, we won't be listening to much of "that's not accurate" types as we are a fun airsoft team 1st and an display group 3rd...... (a bunch of wasters 2nd). I don't think any of us would consider ourselves a period correct re-enactment group.

We always take our displays seriously
we also take our messing very seriously too
Asking a terrorist what his demands are, and him replying "a cup of tea, and some nice biscuits" just adds to the general fun of the day :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,169 ✭✭✭Alvin T. Grey

    Hob-nobs.

    Chocolate ones.:D

Remember practicing it, and having the terrorist ask for a helicopter? There wasn't one in the paddock during rehersals.........

What was the first thing the buggers put in on day one?

Task Force - "What are your demands, what is it you're trying to achieve?"

OpFor - "We demand... A SHRUBBERY!"
