    Fighters looking for fights?
I was just wondering would we be able to create a sticky in relation to fighters who are looking for fights?
this would be helpful for match ups and for the many promotions around ireland! this could be for all fighters, not just mma for example!

The reason why i thought of this is i have a fighter, Dylan Scally who is looking for fights but is not getting much action! He is looking for a fight in kickboxing Low kick rules at 95kg+ if any coach or fighter is interested they could pm me, rules could be compromised! there is a chance this could go ahead late june if anyone is willing to take the fight, but without a competitor he'd just look silly shadow boxing on his own!!

    Good idea.

Not sure what the general craic is with other clubs, but is it not generally the case that the trainer decides who can fight and when? Maybe it should just be the trainers who put up a list of their lads that can fight?

Yeah that makes sense, trainers should act on behalf of the fighters, :)
would be a good addition to the forum..

Definitely. I know there's a lot of flutin' back and forth goes on in the MT scene trying to find people at your weight for given shows etc.

The trainers wouldn't even have to put names beside it (or they could...either way is good), definitely weight, number of fighters at that weight and type of fighting they're available for.

Could 1 of the mods look at making this an official fighters available or looking for fights thread sticky? Would be great for setting up bouts that could be missed otherwise!

PS, on a side note, is there any 95kg+ strikers that would be interested in fighting at the end of june? if so send me a pm..

I just seen over on irishthaiboxing.com Dylan scally been offered a fight by some lad 76kg who wants 3k to fight him in full rules thai but is asking him to lose to much weight apparently!
is this genuine or is your man just trying to look big knowing he cant drop to 90kg?

maybe some of the thai boxing people here could explain the ins and outs as it had me in stitches, or is the whole thing just a wind up?

no its not a wind up paddy is serious about the fight and has asked for a reasonable amount of weight to be dropped

That "some lad" is Paddy from here. It's a genuine offer alright. I'd love to see that fight I have to say. It's a very funny thread though, for sure.

Just so you don't pull the wool over people's eyes here as well you don't have to loose any weight (in fact you can put on as much as you like) if you would like a re-match with Gary Harty. Mind you, it would be under Thai rules, (we wouldn't EVEN ask you to fight full Thai rules as it might scare a big boy or was that bad boy like you) but we would let you wear your shin guards and kicky box booties if you feel that would make you feel safer.

LOL, that thread is quality. :)

I can't believe all those thai boxers are scared to fight him and nobody is willing to pay this man what he is clearly worth! :D

Perhaps Dylan is just trying to create a lot of negativity and rag a lot of people in order to get a fight with a lot of intrest?
Chris Eubank used to do this to sell more tickets , as everyone would turn up to see him lose.

I'd be interested in watching Dylan fight as part of a MMA card against a well matched opponen.

Gary is the most boreing person , sorry fighter i've been matched up with and unless it's a title match i'm not interested. You're the muay thai guru...make it happen, i'm sure you can get something santioned. Yeah, Yeah he beat me before YAWN....you're dealing with a different kettle of fish now old buddy...i was so such a bloody loner that i did'nt even have a corner if you remember,i got some young lad to give me water between rounds(I think i fought 10/15 fights without a corner)....i rushed into fighting before i was ready...but i'm ready now. So set it up joycey boy...
