    how bad is our court?

    to say that joe got off scott free is a shambles.

    so basically they are saying meg killed herself, and jumped into a river....

    unreal.

    they arent saying any of that. Do you know how the court system works? Educate yourself

    Why is it shambles? He was tried by a jury and the state failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he was guilty. He was unanimously declared not guilty. That is all 'they are saying'

    If the courts find him Not Guilty, then he's 'not guilty' - whether you like it or not, whether any of us think so or not. Inferring otherwise would be defamation. Please refer to other threads and avoid libel.
    If you have an issue with the court practices / theory - discuss it in Legal Discussion or Humanities or whatever (in abstract terms - avoid defamatory statements, etc).
