Can someone recommend some good shops for a brides maid dress. I Want something plan and just below the knee, but not the strapless shiny dresses that seem to be everywhere! I am a total shopaphobic.I have been to Debenhams, Arnotts and gave up. I have a budget of max. 300 Euro! help:confused:

I got mine in Warehouse - they're pink cocktail dresses. I can't remember the exact price but they were fairly reasonable.

Go soon though. The summer stock came in a few weeks ago and sizes in the dress we're using are already hard to find.

Monsoon for me too, and just to ensure no-one came in the same dress, on the wedding notes that went with the invites I said"Bridesmaids will be wearing turquoise/marine green". Took care of any worries. The dresses are reasonable, well cut, lovely colours, great selection.
Also Little Black Dress in Powerscourt have a great selection, a dress shop in CowsLane, can't remember the name, another little boutique on the corner, opposite St. Stephens Green and Break for the Border.
As my OH says "just don't make them look like a fruit bowl":D

Kildare Shopping Village has a Coast & Monsoon - along with a few other shops. Worth a look if you're on a budget.

Just to note! My Sister saw a dress in Coast in KSV that was still in the stores over in London the same week.
