i have a projecter and the lamp is gone help?

my dad got a projecter from the boss at work because he had no use for it anymore he got a new better one:D so we have had it working like 6months and the lamp light has gone now when i turn it on the lamp turns on then switches back off. i rang around a few places and nowere does them and i dont wanna order it off the net…

Alpha Pro apparently don't make Projectors anymore so you may have some trouble finding replacement parts I'm afraid.
