it should not be as its just back from the repair man - the sound seems to be ok ie songs and radio but is just this dam click - it seems to be just on the internet ie when pages refresh and turn

    Hi,
Go into control panel then sounds and audio devices.
Then in there click on the sounds tab 2nd one and you will see a setting called sound scheme either choose none or windows default or whatever and that should be it I think

All this is assuming your running xp.

Did the repair guy have access to your monitor/sound system/mouse and keyboard you actually use?
If not, is there any chance something like one of those items is causing the click?

What operating system are you using, although shouldnt make much difference if the repair guy actually did what he said he was going to do.
Does the sound still occur when you have the volume on the PC and speakers muted?
