What documents do you need to bring when paying VRT?

I had a look through the importing from the UK guide and I couldn't find it. When you are bringing a car in from the UK what documents do you need to bring to the VRT office when you are paying the VRT and having it inspected?

    Thanks.

If importing from the UK you will need the V5c Reg document.

Is that all? Just the V5c? You dont have to bring the sales invoice or log book or anything?

V5c or Cert of permanent export.

They don't care what you paid for it.

Thats all and your cheque book.

VRT the Gf's new s/h car there last month, it was the exact same as the VRT on the website, they didnt check the car or nothing.

They give you the reg no. there and then so you can go off and get the plates, takes about three days for your car to appear up on the database to tax it.
