So on the Kidney thread a lot of people say he'll do well if he gets the proper backroom staff or that he absolutely needs the proper backroom staff. So, as a person who just looks at rugby in terms of the physical attributes required, who would you pick, and why?

    Takk,

I think Gafney would be good coming in, as he will already be working with the Leinster backs (eseentially the Irish backline)

I'm not sure on who else is available, in terms of coaching staff and others (team manager etc.)

Certainly Niall O'Donavan has to go, a clean sweep is needed, as well as the physical conditioning coach.

If the recommendations of the Genesis report are implemented, it will be a step in the right direction.

I think it would be best if Kidney chooses his own backroom staff.

Wasnt there talk of the Ulster physical conditioning coach coming in or something.

    Plus one for Gaffney

Not sure who it is but he should definately bring his defensive coach (whos name escapes me) with him from Munster. Gafney should be with a cert for the backs coach position.

A top class forwards coach is a must, while O'Donovan did great work over the years with the Irish pack, Irelands forward play has disimproved in recent years and a change is badly needed.

Any good conditioning coach who is not completely obsessed with Spala is fine by me.

Smal for forwards, current leinster team manager for ireland job, ulster's fitness coach for ireland job, would be good to get gaffney.
