    Olla :)

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

I have a Dell inspiron laptop, about 3 yrs old not wireless ready. it has a card slot so I'm pretty sure I could just use a wireless network card was just wondering is there another way, such as a usb version of this?

You can use a USB Wireless Adapter or a PCMCIA Wireless Adapter (the slot version you mention, which i prefere as its neater I think) to enable wirless capability on your laptop. Both adapters would be very easy to install and should cost you no more than €50 at a stretch.

Had seen the USB one but then there was a big speil about security, encrypting and the likes so thought maybe it was for something else.
