Ummm...Pottage?

Went back to iPoker today. I like to raise pot and was delighted to see a pot button. Yay!

There's one slight problem with it though.....:rolleyes:

well spit it out and il feed it back, ive tested it in preview and in production and I dont see any problem with it.

he obviously doesn't have enogh chips to make a pot bet. Not ipokers fault imo

I presume he's talking when you pot it from the SB or BB. I think it's not accurate when you raise from these positions, be it blind v blind or repopping a button raise.

ye potting out of the blinds is wrong, it doesnt count your blind into it.

also gives you 1/4, 1/2, pot options, why they thought 1/4 pot is better than 3/4 i dont know. or even 2/3 pot would be better.

still good they got the ball rolling, specially for plo

you dont count your own blind when calculating pot.

as for the 1/4 pot button, pls dont start on me there.

A pot sized raise from the SB is not raising too 2.5x the bb

Bet pot buttons are bad because it makes the fishes bet sizing better and thats worse for us.

exactly.... bad players constantly make mistakes when bet sizing.... pricing you in etc etc...

while it not always correct to bet the pot they are not making a huge mistake doing this and makes life a little more difficult for us..

on the + side nothing like a fish 3 barrelling the pot button into your nuts

me too, I thought all these kinds of updates would be done at the same time, hence I was wondering what everyone was on about, all I saw was the usual little red arrow showing what a pot bet would be on the slider but certainly not a button.

say 1 limper and SB and your on BB, so theres 12 in the pot, you should be able to raise to 16 , when u click the pot button it gives you 12 im pretty sure. doesnt add on your 4 or something. Basically its wrong.

also raising from SB it says 10 ( 2.5 BBs) instead of 12 (3 BBs). SO obv something wrong that its not including your Blind.

No, your 4 isn't meant to be included but it should be 16 when you pot it - 3x the last bet (SB) plus the limper. But yeah all pot raises from the blinds are incorrect.

Just go onto PPP and wait for it to be your SB and press the pot button...It's definitely happened me, I just type it manually anyway when in the blinds, in PLO does it not allow you to bet the proper pot size?
