I am due to sit this exam in June and am struggling a bit with it. I have done a good amount of work on it and have a good knowledge of definitions and such but I struggle a bit when applying these to the scenarios in the questions. Basically, I am wondering does anyone have any hints as to how to approach this subject and what areas it would be best to focus on for the remaining few weeks. Thanks in advance

Good article in this months ACCA Student magazine from the examiner outlining why students failed this exam and what she wants in terms of answers.

    Its worth a read.

Good luck with the exam as well.

I'm doing the same exam in June.

Question 1 normally asks you to apply your knowledge of obtaining Audit evidence to a case study. A good tip I learned is AEIOR.
A - Analytical review (Ratios, comparisons, forecasts)
    E - Enguire
    I - Inspect
    O - Observe
    R - Recalculate.

You can use this for question 1 as a guide to what the examiner is looking for.
But from what I understand you must read the question carefully and use the scenario to guide you through your answer
