    Id be confident Ireland is coming back, and one of the most regrettable things about Sven going out is that he seems to be a great influence on the younger players. Ireland seems to respect him and Richards pretty much said the same about all the team in his BBC column.

    At least Finnan agreed to meet him, which would be unlikely if he was point blank finished with Ireland (though you have to wonder where the motivation lies, he hasnt got regular game time for Liverpool in quite a while.)

    Mind you if he plays his legs off in internationals in order to impress Rafa I couldnt give a bollix tbh.
