I was wary of getting into the BGRH forum as I am not the least interested in sport. But Brother Tom explained that there are hardly ever any sport threads. The only sports I enjoy are powerlifting beers/BBQ food/snacks/chocolate etc

Do any other brothers/ettes feel that sport discussions are creeping in?

Do you like discussing sport in BGRH? 25 votes

Yes, discussing, but not really participating! Ony sports I do use gravity as the main energy source!!

And what is more BGRH than sitting around drinking and watching/talking about sport?

Well the wimmins GAA thread got dumped here because no-one else wanted it. Seemed a strange place for it to end up, but meh. The soccer thread started on the back of the GAA one. There has always been the odd mention of sports, it is a manly place after all :), although there have never been threads before that I can remember, but it rarely lasts long. I'd imagine those two threads will drop off the radar fairly quickly.

    Completely agreed.

However, as mentioned on the rigger doesn't like rugby thread, tbh I would rather go metro than watch sport, and similarly talk about it. Does that mean I don't think others should be allowed? Not at all, as long as brother's are not moisturising when engaging in their post sport shower.
