checking noise on your UPC line, what level is acceptable?

Just wondering if anyone knows what an acceptable SNR level is on an UPC/NTL line? If I look at my modem configuration my downstream SNR is 35.1db is this within range? Thanks

Anything over 30dB SNR should be fine. You can easily drop below that and still sustain a fine connection too. ~<=25dB is where it starts to impact on your connection.
