If you're in eng and not liking it, you should probably get out and review your options. On whether pharm is better than eng, you're the only person who can answer that to be honest!

What did you not like about eng?

I'm sure there'll be a few pharm types about to help you out

generally speaking, people in campus can be divided into science and non-science lol

and people who into science, gernerally in either one group:physics/nonbiological part or biological/chemistry .that is very generally speaking as there are lots of divisions in them.so ya get it you are in eng/mechanical/physics type ,pharm is health science/medicalbiology related course.either you will like it more or hate it compare to the eng.......obviously depends on yourself,do you like your science subjects in LC?get a clue from there.

while for the money aspect i believe is what OP you refering to better or not ?both courses make good money i say, generally speaking :D

well i really want a settled life and want to live good financially aswell..
Iv heard alot about engineering being a bad course choice..and they get hard jobs and don't get paid well.

thats the main downfall for me.

Well, with all that's going on at the moment, Pharmacy may not be as financially viable as it is now in a few time!

There's quite a big variety of jobs one can go into after a Pharmacy degree. A lot of graduates would go into community pharmacy and hospital pharmacy, but there are other aspects such as manufacturing industry, research, regulatory authorities, academia...You really have to think what sort of job would appeal to you. Are you a people person? Do you enjoy laboratory work?

If there is a pharmacy course in your university, it shouldn't be too difficult to track someone down who has been studying it for a couple of years and see what they think of it, what's involved and what aspects might appeal to you.

Within the subject, while there is quite a lot based around biology and chemistry, there is a fair bit of physics-y stuff in there too, as well as some lectures on pharmacy "Practice", dealing with practical aspects of working in a pharmacy and dealing with patients - so there is plenty of variety!

Thats rubbish, an engineering course is one of the best courses you could do, there are so many skills you learn in an engineering degree that you don't with others, I read somewhere before that an engineering graduate is six times more likely to become a CEO than a business graduate. Are there any aspects of your present course that you enjoy? As a matter of interest OP what type of engineering are you doing?

Funnily enough, I was considering doing engineering back while doing my leaving, now I'm in pharmacy (finals in less than 2 weeks...fun fun fun (not)). Two completely different courses, both with broad options as to future career options.

If you really want to do it, look into it. Talk to pharmacy students, lurk around a pharmacy (in a nice way), talk to your local pharmacist if you/a family member get medication.

I love it, the interactions with people and the options to work in the community, hospital. industry, regulatory or academia.

The new Pharmacy Act has Continual Professional Development as a compulsory component of the profession, and yes you can switch between positions whenever you want, but the only thing is you might love where you're at then. Go with your gut where you want to be practising into the future, and go for it.
