    I have the long gold/bronze silk skirt from the 1st Kate Moss collection in Topshop but have never had an opportunity to wear it. A confirmation is coming up in a couple of weeks and I'd like to wear it but haven't a clue what to put on top! I'm probably going to be wearing black knee-high stiletto boots with it as its too long to wear any of my shoes that have lower heels. I was thinking the top will probably have to be black too but as far as style goes I'm lost!

    Any advice please...has anyone else got this skirt and if so what do you wear it with?

    soft light material, chiffon maybe, something sleek and flowing, nothing tight or fitted...well depends on the style of the skirt but def a soft material

    I think something plain would go best with it, as the skirt is so unusual.
    If I was wearing it, I'd pair it with maybe a black fitted tank top and a blazer, accessorise with some ethnic gold/bronze bangles and earrings or a statement necklace.
    If you could get away with it, i'd try some sandles with it instead of boots, many something like this

    I have similar sandals but I don't think they're going to work. It might be flattering on Kate Moss with flat shoes but not on me!

    I might just give up-nothing I try is right. Ironically it looks great with a long chunky knit cardigan and boots...but not really appropriate for either the event or the weather.

    It's just going to be one of those purchases that look great but are never worn!
