Cabbage mobile and Meteor,any fix?

    Cabbage mobileappears towork with my O2 account but there is no sign of itworking with Meteor. My Meteor number is the number most people have for me so ideally I would prefer to use this account.

    I can´t get AFT to install on my phone which is the reason I´m using Cabbage.

    what happens when you try to send a message?

    what format have you entered your phone number in? 08x, +3538x, 3538x or 003538x? it should be 08x

    are there any special characters in your password or is it just numbers like most meteor passwords?

    what format are you entering the destination number in?

    i just tried it there myself and it worked so the problem is somewhere on your end

    @Sam Vimes,thanks for your time and goodwill. I got a new SIM 3 days before I left. What put me astray was that I think Cabbage wasn't working on Meteor with old SIM. Appears to be working fine now. At least the're going out.So as they say here "Muchas Gracias"

    I am also having problems over the last couple of days with cabbage and meteor. keep getting error 2"could not connect to network site" Any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong.

    does it always give the error or does it work sometimes?

    what phone do you have?


    replace the values in capitals in the address below with your details and go to it and tell me what you get back. a number should appear:
    http://cabaal.org/cabbage/send.php?u=YOURNUMBER&p=YOURPASSWORD&d=YOURNUMBERs=m&m=hello

    and you should get a message to your phone saying hello

    My mistake Sam, I never realised that there was a mobile version of Cabbage, My problem was with the desktop version. However, I seem to have fixed it. The problem was I had ticked the "Send msg using server option" unknowns to me.

    Thanks for your prompt reply though, I must look into this mobile version now. I assume its something like aft is it.
