I'm trying to record sound from a webpage.

I'm gonna run a cable from my headphone socket to my line in. Then open up windows sound recorder and set it to record from line in.

Voila, job done. Right? Or am i missing something?

Not had a chance to test it because I can't find the cable right now, but wanna make sure it's gonna work.

That will work, there're also programs to record from the soundcard so you don't need the cable.

What's the website? Depending on the filetype that's playing it might just be easier to download the file that has the audio and convert it to the format you want.

What you're doing would probably work though, I did something soimilar to record to my minidisc player back in the day.

There's a couple of places. One would be myspace.
