Where did Channel 6 manage to find him... i think he's the worst presenter i've seen in ages.

Like i gave him a chance at the start about a year ago, but he's just gone from bad to worse. And nowadays he's on the streets. It's just so cringey, him standing in the middle of Dublin, trying to put his "wit" into his segments between the songs. I just really embarrassed. And this week i turned over and he was standing in the middle of a country road, handing out a free CD, with no-1 passing. Just play the music!!!

Yeah popscene is on 2 hours mon-Fri, and they might be stuck for things to do and talk about, but look at the people over on E4 music who do a great job intween the music videos. And even Michelle Doherty on Night Shift does an excellent job.

    Rant over! :)

He was standing beside me at the Tenacious D concert last year in the RDS, twas only a wee little fella! :pac:

I think they tried to get someone quirky, like the people you see on T4. That weird tall girl was in FHM recently.

But I think the difference their is that there are always generally two of them, and they can buzz of each other and appear to be having great fun, which makes you wish that you knew them and were friends with them, so you could be having the fun that they're having too.

Whereas with Brian Deveraux you're kind of just like... yeah good joke... for a 9 year old... think I'll go watch 'How It's Made' *flick*

He is extremely irritating. I wish television producers would actually take heed and realise that most people find smug, sarky, too-cool-for-school presenters extremely grating.
