    Lads.
I want to run a monitor mix to me from a spare aux to a set of headphones( in ear jobbys). Obviously i need some sort of power for this. Whats the handiest way to hook this up. What would substitute for a headphone amp? I have a fair bit of gear lying around

I'm only going to half-rack my brains.
How about a microphone pre-amp with phono input?
