Oscar is fighting contender star and former IBF champ, Steve Forbes tomorrow.

Forbes has never been finished AFAIK, but I predict the larger DLH will put him away within 6 rounds.

    Thoughts?

I'm interested in it! i think De la hoya will finish him in 8, and try to put on a show in the process..We wont have much more of oscar so i'd say watch him while you can..:)

Oscar won a UD, 2 judges gave forbes one round, the other gave it 120-108 De La Hoya, thought Forbes got a few rounds, he was making DLH look like duddy at times, and this was for Oscar to shine. I hope it shook the rust off and he will be sharper in his next 2 fights.

Its good to shake off some rust before taking on the likes of mayweather, i was very impressed with forbes too, showed good combo'd and great speed and did not look out of place with oscar. this fight will be good for DLH..

Forbes looked good for moments. DLH wasn't overly impressive.

Oscar looked shook in the interview with Merchant.
he was poor, I thought Forbes was man of the match tbh. he put in a much better performance than dela hoya.

Dela hoya's "star-power" got him a shutout 12-0 round call from one of the judges.

this really bothers me how judges always sway towards star names in boxing....
If they were both fighters you never heard of and you looked at that fight last night , would you have scored it differently ?

p.s. Cowzerp .... I didnt recognize you with your new avatar.
