Is there one on at the weekend? I heard Luke at Byrne's blog mention it. I know there does be fliers for it and all in FP and Sub, but I haven't visited them in a month...
I'll need a response by today as well, cos' I'm heading into Dublin tomorrow for FCBD anyways... :D

The guy who organises it is Emmet Taylor, he's previously posted up his mobile number as 087 9942906 (and his email address as "comicartist(a)oceanfree.net") so your best bet is to contact him about it, I'd say...

Hmm. I was talking to Emmet about a month ago and he said he wasn't doing one this year.

Is it the toy fair they sometimes have in the Rochestown Lodge in Dun Laoghaire?

    Hi,
I'm just back from watching Iron Man and I realised that this weekend last year I was doing a comic mart (before rushing off to see Spider-man 3). So, I'd say it was just an old topic over at Bob's board (hopefully). While I enjoy all the marts and conventions, I think I timed that last one badly. Alot of people where out of town for the bank holiday weekend and it was quieter than usual. So next time I do one, it won't be a bank holiday :)
There seems to be quite a buzz about FCBD this year even without a comic mart. Sub City here in Galway got a nice write up in the local paper (with a circulation of around 60,000) as they're doing a Free Comic Book Day tomorrow.
I've still a load of FCBD spider-man issues from last year's mart...I even tried giving them to schools but no takers. Maybe they they weren't fans of Jackpot.
I'll use them as giveaways at a future mart.

PS: If you go to Iron Man , stay til after the trailers!!
