I know we've seen this before, but

Premiership Winners and La Liga Winners:
2000/01 Manchester United + Real Madrid
    2001/02 Arsenal + Valencia
2002/03 Manchester United + Real Madrid
    2003/04 Arsenal + Valencia
    2004/05 Chelsea + Barca
    2005/06 Chelsea + Barca
2006/07 Manchester United + Real Madrid

    2007-2008?
Real Madrid have a 10 point gap with 4 games to go. The league is as good as ours.
If this happens again, that'll be 8 times in a row! There must be something more in this than conincidence?

Wow, that's strange. Cool though. What is it down to if not coincidence though?

I've done some indepth statistical analysis on Utd league wins / total number of vowels in the names of the teams winning the Croatian, Belgian and Albanian leagues over the last 15 years, which has led me to conclude that you'll draw with West Ham and allow chelsea to win the league in the dying seconds of our Bolton game.

Though I won't be betting the house on it. :)

They will win it as West Ham have come out and said they are going to be playing basically a reserve team tomorrow

Did ya know as well that since the last time Madrid won the CL (2002) that the CL has been won by the team who knocks out the team that beat Madrid.....and this year Madrid were knocked out by Roma............

you read the coincidence incorrectly - the team that beats the side that knocked out Real wins the CL - in 2006 Arsenal knocked out Real, Arsenal were beaten by Barcelona and Barcelona won the title.

As sad as I am, I noticed this myself before I saw it being mentioned on the internet. Weird alright.

It all makes perfect sense now why Man Utd keep selling players to Madrid

Arsenal knocked out Madrid, and were then beaten by Barca, the team that won it....read my post again ;)

Sorry, didnt see the posts after, yea so far its continued every year! Weird these things! Hopin United maintain it, and then we avoid Madrid next year!!

The league is as good as over...

Chelsea have the harder fixtures and Utd have that extra point basically due to goal difference.

West Ham have nothing to play for only pride, they can't go up or down in the league at this stage...

Wigan on the last day will probably be safe from relegation and they'll just be playing for pride.

Check out my predictions from early april... bang on the money so far :D
