    Hey,

I was playing with the multiple exposure feature on the D80 last weekend. The results didn't come out quite as expected the subject of the picture is kinda ghost like; does anyone know how to make the windsurfer less "see through"? (without taking three pictures and photoshoping?)

    Thanks,

    Oisin

Unless you're in a dark environment with a strobe you'll have that problem with multiple exposures (particularly in daylight). The problem is that when you expose for the second/third times - or more - the frame has already been exposed in the spot where the windsurf is appearing as it crosses the shot. If you take multiple shots and stitch them together you avoid this, as each shot was only exposed once. Does that makes sense?

Slightly off topic, but you seem to have a dirty sensor/lens...

Thanks, that makes sense alright, so using the flash multiple times might make the subject stand out from the background more?

Yup the sensor is filthy, I've one of those rocket blower things on the way hopefully that'll shift it (blind optimism)
