Kerry seem to be hot favs for this one. Is this based purely on tradition or football ability? Looking at the semis I though Kildare were just as good as them.

    Any views?

I think they are favourites based on the fact they have beaten Cork, who are a massive team at underage level.

I was informed last weekend by a Kildare man that the U21 Kildare footballers beat the Kildare senior team in a challenge match and that the match was very competitive.

Do not write off Kildare in the final!!!!

Good win for Kerry - the strength of the squad was very apparent.

All the forward eight apart from Kieran O'Leary scored which is always a good sign

Expect a fair few from this squad to make the step up to senior in the coming years
