Hi all, don't really post here much. Anyway I have fairly thick hair that grows back very quick when I get it cut. I use a lot of hair gel, but it generally all clots together and doesn't look too well. I use brylcream for it. Basically what I wanna do is spike my hair up a bit. Can anyone offer some advice on what would be the best possible way to do this? Or is there a better hair gel out there?

i much preferred small amounts of wax on towel dried hair (very dry) e.g. dax wax or the grafton barber stuff (very good).

i've used the VO5 Rework stuff for a few years now and it's good, but i'd say there's better products out there
