    a colleague is a hiker, and was asking me for recommendations on a camera he could take hiking, which would be able to put up with a certain amount of abuse, but also have a decent lens.

    anyone know of any models he could try out?

    there was an ad of a camera a kid used to take a picture of his dog and then after falling in mud he rinsed it under a tap before returning it to his mother
    can't remember what camera it was, but probably that olympus there
