    Hey,

    I am wondering what is the best way to transfer files like audio and AVI's to my PS3 (just got yesterday). Through a cable wireless or USB?

    Also, can i plug in a usb thumb drive and play content from that?
    Can it play Divx?

    Does anyone have any extra tips on themes etc or links to sites to dl content.

    USB is probably the most hassle free tbh, but you can also share your media library with WMP11 or something.

    Yup, works fine

    Yup, though not all AVI files use DivX

    PS Store is your best bet though there are sites all over for themes, wallpapers etc.

    http://www.ps3-themes.com/ is a decent site for themes. Just google PS3 themes and there is a good few more.

    That site lets ur pc act as a server and u can download onto ur ps3...

    Sharing files through WMP11 is the best bet though... class part of ps3!

    WMP11 won't let you transfer mp4 video to your PS3. PITA. Using PS3Video9 to convert my videos from some other format [so I can be SURE they will play in PS3] is great. Very hard to get them to the PS3 without USB, though.
