Windows Live=PANTS.....Please help!!!

    Basically im really at the end of my tether with this one and im hoping someone can help me...... on sunday night i tried to log into both Hotmail and Live Messenger, i was greeted with error code 81000306..... I thought id leave well enough alone and it might be alright on monday but it wasn't. A qick search of the Interweb brought several fixes including f'n about with the registery and auto tuning...... neither of which worked. The last fix i found involved uninstalling live messenger, deleting the executable file and doing a fresh reinstall. This is where i have the problem now, i cant reinstall Live Messenger, open Hotmail or do pretty much anything to do with Windows live.

    Im trying to do this on an Acer Aspire 5050, Vista Home Basic through a Buffalo Wireless G 125 WHR G54S Wireless router......

    Can anybody help me figure out what exactly is wrong??
