    I've had a quick look around here and a quick google and I can't see anything, so I'm posting this... sorry if it's a duplicate; feel free to delete if it is!

    I've started using the dumbells/free weights in my gym lately and am looking for more information on the different techniques you can use them for, the different muscles each one works and which technique is better for building which muscle.

    Even the techniques/movements I do know may not be the best for the various muscles so I'd like as much information as possible so I can choose which ones I want to put the most effort into.

    I'm looking for as broad a range of techniques as possible but just for the sake of saying it I'm looking mainly to tone and slightly bulk up my upper body.
