Just a thread to help people going somewhere only to find it's not available there.

Dublin : Finglas
Tesco's Clearwater are sold out of the Xbox version, some PS3 ones left. Expecting a few more in later today, won't have any 'til Saturday then (both formats). Selling at 39.99 for today only, mind!

Game in Dundrum are sold out and Tesco appear to be also (although I didn't ask). Virgin Dundrum still have copies for the PS3 anyway and I think they have copies for the Xbox

game in ilac centre had some this morn at 10...
if you have loyalty card you get priority i think.
everywhere on nside city centre i tried was sold out (appart from gamestop -preorders only tho). tesco / dixons / argos in jervis. hmv too

Every shop in the Blanchardstown Center that I tried had loads and loads.

With relation to Game in Dundrum, they have loads of copies on the shelves but when you go up to the counter they tell you they are sold out

Did the Tesco folk tell you it's only today ? The ad in this morning's Herald states the 39.99 offer is valid until 6th May -

apparently you cant get it in any of the usual spots in town without pre-order or at all (game, hmv, gamestop, golden discs, smyths).

Well this is what my ps3 owning mate has told me after a mad dash to try and get it

Try Tesco in the Coonagh Cross shopping centre. Picked it up there last night and there were more copies than people waiting to get it!

For Clairehall in Dublin, Tesco seem to be sold out and Gamestop only have pre-orders, I think. Lucky I pre-ordered

For those near the city centre, try Celtward (not sure if that's the spelling) on the quays. They always have all the games and accessories that sell out everywhere else.

Tesco Dundalk sold out from early morning...no more nearby tescos to check. Seems to be stock around the rest of the town but prices are good bit higher.

Smyths Carrickmines - Always a great bet cause unless you have a car ya cant really get to it and its a bit out of the way. I always pick up games on release there never had to pre book - Got my GTA at abot 1.30 was a good few left PS3 and 360.

Anyone been out to Tesco Coonagh in Limerick to see if they have any? I was going to head there after work seeing as the Crescents supply is now gone.

Tesco clarehall are not sold out, don't know why they tell people over the phone that they are. I just got a copy there, there not on the shelfs, you have to go to the electronics desk at the back.

Argos in Drogheda had four PS3 versions in stock (unreserved) when I was there a little after 10am. Harvey Norman beside it had a good few of both format, and the special edition boxset.

Smyths in Blanch have plenty of them for PS3 on general sale... not selling them to anyone under 18 !!

A friend of mine just rang me to say that he got it in Smyths.. 65 euro

I hadn't heard that. I just read my receipt it said something along the lines of "first day discount -E20.00", or that.

Heard there's a good few in both the Finglas & Phibsboro XtraVisions, too!
