Back training after injury

    Hi all

I've been out with a broken toe for about 5 months and have not been doing any running etc.

I play football and have moved to a new GAA club this year. Before I get back into the swing of things, I'll need to get myself back in to some sort of shape.

I'm 32, 6'5", 17 stone 4lbs and am carrying some weight as you can imagine. My normal weight when fit is 15 stone - 15 and a half stone when fit.

Would you mind giving me some tips on how to ease myself back in, lose some weight somewhat quickly considering my age and height. I'm planning to do some running in the evening and some mornings. Evening runs outside, morning runs in the gym. I plan to do some light weights, high reps, some sauna time also. I eat quite well, fairly healthy, maybe a takeaway once a fortnight so I'm happy enough I don't have to change much here, maybe smaller portions.

    Thanks

    Keystone
