    Hi
I have an EEE PC 4g. So far i haven't been able to use mobile broadband with it.
On the modem box (I have this), it says that the modem works with windows and mac. I don't really want to install windows on my EEE PC.
Has anyone a tip to share ?

Have a read of the EEE PC main thread, I recall something about that in there.

As far as I can remember, somebody got it working.

I assume you're still using the default Xandros OS on the eee?

try eeeuser.com I seem to remember lots of people getting them to work although there seemed to be a problem with green dongle that 3 sell

soccfc : yes I am still using the default OS. Thanks for the link
Tom Dunne : I read the main thread but the messages saying that it works don't really explains what should be done.

To be more precise about what happens when I plug the modem to the eee PC, the system only recognizes the modem as a removable device.
