You should join through an affiliate as you will then get 33% rakeback.

The main difference with Cake (positive for some, negative for others) is that they don't allow tracking software/huds, such as Pokertracker and Holdem Manager.

Been playing there for the last 2 months or so. The site is good and they seem to have a lot of good offers for players.

The ring games are very fishy and at times it seems like people or on the site just to purely take the piss. Ive enjoyed playing the bounty tournaments and there always seems to be hugh overlays in any of there larger tournies___but at times there "late registering" goes on forever. I dont know where u have been playing for the last while so i cant compare for u but id recommend playing the site!:D

Playing there a couple of months too and very impressed.
The ring games are quite soft and traffic is decent (i'm playing 50:1 6 max Nl games).
The software is quite fast also, meaning that you can see up to 30% extra hands per hour than some other networks.
They recently upgraded to allow you to resize tables which is great if you multi-table.

As mentioned above they don't allow poker tracker/HUD etc, which is an advantage if you don't use them yourself at the moment, but may be an issue if you rely on them.
Only minor quibble I have is that you cannot set a seating preference, i.e. sit in the same seat for every game.

Agree with post above re rakeback, defenitely go through an affiliate before you open an account or you're throwing away money.

I tried signing up to cakepoker last week (due to iPoker constantly crashing), had major issues from the start. First of all it doesn't send out the verification email to hotmail addresses, so I had to use my gmail. Then when I finally did get the verification mail I clicked it and it said I was ok to deposit. I went back and checked the poker client and found I couldn't deposit. I got sent out the verification mail about 6 times and each time it said the email hadn't been verified. Tried to contact support but they never got back to me. Ah well customer lost...
