Graphics card / Monitor ?

    Does a graphics card enhance normal web browsing or just games ?
    also does one type of card benifit a certain monitor , or are they all equal and compatible ?

    im just wondering as im looking to upgrade my pc a bit , but i dont do the gaming much .

    Graphics cards mainly deal with 3d stuff (gaming, cad etc.). All graphics cards will work with all monitors. The higher the resolution the monitor has the better the graphics card you'll need.

    buy an 8800gt the price is coming down all the time then start gaming

    now what graphics card should i buy to compliment it ?
    I only usually use the internet , not really a gamer .
    but i would watch a lot of Videos etc , ....

    So any advice ?
