Rebooting OSX without password

How do you reboot OSX without a password? I've a MACbook here from Power City, but its a demo model, so they have an admin account on it, and i dont have a password for it.

Google suggested booting into the command line mode and typing:
    #sh /etc/rc
    #passwd yourusername
    #reboot
    But it just says
sh: /etc/rc: No such file or directory
Im not familiar with MACs so any help would be appreciated

    Edit-
Never mind, I figured it out.

reboot with the install dvd in the drive and hold down the 'c' key to boot from it. Select english as the setup language and at the next screen you will have a toolbar at the top. Theres an option there somewhere to reset the password.
