How to fix a fooked mix....

    I just recorded a mix there, it all went perfect until the very last song... I screwed up the last mix, brought it on too early and it just wasn't smooth.

    I really don't want to have to do the whole thing again, so I'd like to just record the last mix again and, and then patch the two good bits together.

    Can anyone advise how best to do this please?

    With great difficulty...

    If you keep the first track at the same BPM you could possibly stitch it back together in Audacity or similar - there could still be an audible 'join' then though.

    Does the mix have to be a specific length? Why not just fade it out on the second last song at some point :)

    Why don't you just replay the entire mix again on one channel while recording it and then mix back into just before it all went wrong? I'm not sure I explained that very well. :confused:
