I'm making some bleaches for use in the darkroom and looking for chemicals like

    Potassium dichromate
    Sulphuric acid
    Sodium chloride

    etc etc.

Mostly small quantities too. Prefer to buy in Ireland and avoid hazmat problems.

    Any idea folks???

Don't know how good they are for photography needs and quantities, but you could give Lennox a try.

sodium chloride is a dangerous chemical - in excessive quantities, it causes high blood pressure.

Try popping into a pharmacy and asking about placing an order. Some might be willing to do it if they find your reason for getting them fairly legit.

The sodium chloride you're after is pretty common in pharmacies. It's a liquid fairly similar to that used in some IV drips.

Sodium Chloride is table salt. Check packaging as other salts can be added to help keep dry. Depending on your needs the impurity might not matter.

Sulphurics Acid is battery acid. You might be able to get it from car/motorcycle garages.

By the way, neither are bleaches.

Found this site last night while looking for something else. Not sure if they supply chemicals by post, but no harm in asking!
