    He folks!
Ive decided to buy a Sanyo Xacti HD1000 HiDef Camcorder and was wondering if anyone could reccomend a CHEAP tripod?

Itll need to have the ability of allowing the user to follow a subject fastish moving.
So is a 3D head what Im looking for? Or is it a Ball Head I need?? Im not sure Ive tried to look up as much as possible but had to ask! :)

Many tripods that are cheap seem to be 3 axis but appear to be best suited for fixed position photography.
What terminology is used in tripod specs to state if the level of resistance is adjustable.

After I have searched ebay I found this one on Pixmania and it seems to suite video cameras?

    Any help much appreciated!
    Thanks
    Nick

I think you need a fluid video head, that one you have linked to is cheap and cheerful and will do the job fine

When you get it put a load of vaseline on the joints as they get quite stiff and it makes the panning much easier.
