    can anyone recommend websites to buy wii games on? bear in mind that they need to work in ireland - not sure if there are different region type games out there?

    www.Play.com? They've a good selection. Can't remember if I have bought Wii games from them but they should be fine and I haven't had any problems with anything that I have bought from there (which include DS games, PS2 games, dvd's, cd's).

    gamesnash.ie sell them, preowned ones too if your interested in some crappy games for the kids that other people have traded in :D

    I got monkey ball for 30 Euro on gamesnash.ie, its a great game :

    also got Sonic and the secret rings which isn't that good :-/

    Mario Galaxy if you don't have it (if you don't, why the hell have you not got it yet!) :D

    has anyone bought wii games from www.videogamesplus.ca? would be very good value if they work on an Irish/european Wii console.....

    Is your Wii region unlocked somehow?

    I imagine these games would be region locked if its a .ca website.

    they are region locked, so i boughta freeloader disc it was about 15 euro and unlocks the console to any region, your tv must support 60hz however (be fairly new) or else you will have to buy a scart converter for another 20 quid
