    Hi

Am just wondering whether their is a version of Visual Studio Express and if so where to download it

This would be the IDE that you would use to code VB .Net and C# solutions using the one IDE and using different project types in one solution

    Thanks in advance

yea you have to get each one separately

    http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/

you can use J# from inside C# VS anyway, maybe you can import other .net languages too

There is SharpDevelop which is open source. Haven't used it however so I don't know how good it is. Its been around for a number of years though so they must be doing something right.
