    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows when the pool in Edenderry is re-opening?
Its bad enough that it closes for the winter,
Now there's no staff to run it?

Hi, There is no opening date as yet as apparently there are no staff. There is a public meeting being held in the Boxing Club in Edenderry on 28th May at 8.30 for all interested members of the public to express their concerns regarding the non opening of the pool.

i am and have been a regular user of edenderry swimming pool for the last number of years. I want to take this opportunity to complement the current board of directors on their appointment of the new manager and the new life guard staff. the friendly and helpful atmosphere together with quality of the water have made for a very pleasurable experience. keep up the good work.

Is it open to all the public or do you have to join or be a member. I live just over the border in Kildare.

you have to get a time table for the public swims, as they change often.due to other activities going on in the pool. new time tables are in pool from the 5th of january 2009.:)

There is now a swimming club in edenderry, RED STARS swimming club. For kids up to about 16. Need to be able to swim 25mtrs to join. Its worth a look if your children are into swiming. The coaches/assistants really work hard with the kids.
