    Hello everyone,

since I installed SP1 for Vista one of my (Microsoft) programs doesn't start any more and says "run time error '-2147319779 (8002801d)' automation error library not registered".

I already googled for it. Elevated permissions for the local user, didn't work.
    Tried to re-register a library. Didn't work.

Does anyone have a similar problem? Or even better: a solution?

    Thanks,
    mC.

Try rolling back off of SP1 for the moment.

SP1 is still quite heavily bugged and shouldnt really be treaded upon except for advanced users and such.

I'm a programmer and I still dont wanna go near the thing yet.

    Right.
Well, had to roll back cos I needed that particular application.
What surprised me was that it was a Microsoft application that didn't work any more and that really, it affected just one.
